its been a longggggg time since i last blog... lot of things i wan to tok about but dunno where to start... hmm...
red team
========
the last 2 weeks has been crazy for me. there was a sudden surge in workload as protocols flew in thick (literally) and fast. we have to review protocols almost every day as well as write up the informed consent documents. and as if the above was not bad enuf, i have to jargar an ongoing study as well as prepare for a new study start. an as if the aboves were not bad enuf, i have to entertain the red team. seriously nuts lor... hell chaotic. we have the morning to do our work and when afternoon comes, we have to sit in the meeting with the red team and discuss ways to standardize work process between the 3 units. it was tough but den again, we really learnt alot from our fellow colleagues. and it was kinda weird to noe that even thou we run studies the same way, the responsibilities of the various dept differ so much (i think our recruitment seriously underwork!). the red team left last thurs... they will be reporting their 'findings' to our almighty big boss and she will standardize all work processes *fingers crossed*.
long weekend

finally... a public holiday after cny and since it falls on friday... we all had a long weekend :)spent fri nua-ing at joy's house... playing tarot card and over-eating LOL spent sat night at lee's house... playing mahjjong and over-eating again!!! *keke* we had a crazy ride home… we had wanted to go marine parade via ecp but we overshot and ended up in adam road so we dropped ry at toa payoh first. den we wanted to go marine parade again. This time via KPE from PIE but we overshot and ended up in paya lebar. in the end, we ended up in marine parade finally…through still road LOL den we wanted to send yz back to tampines by ecp. guess wat? we ended up in terminal 2. give up lor. we u-turned back but missed the tampines exit again!!! in the end we ended up in east coast park and had to go tampines thru changi road. dumb. it was 4am by the time we reached hougang. we went for ‘supper’ at punggol nasi lemak cos both of us were so hungry after our 环岛追追追 LOL.
lab

lab was demoralising once again. sometimes i seriously wonder if i shd go for my phd. i am struggling with chemical calculations day in day out and often feel quite helpless about it. but den again i think i am suitable for lab work leh... at least my pipetting skill is good =P oh well... not going to think too much about it... just feeling unbalance after getting whacked by prof... but den again...is for my own good.

马英九当选！finally... at least a decent president. tw use to be one of the 四小龙 of asia. all the other dragons have marched forward together with the almighty big dragon china... except for tw. while other countries are dying to trade with china, the green party insisted on gaining independence and becoming loggerheads with them. during their 8 yrs under uncle flat, their stock market plunged more than 2000 pts! holy cow~ and its really sad to watch tw news cos u can always hear of people commiting suicide. hopefully mr ma can do his best to help the nation 向前行 and live up to his promises.
