went tomb sweeping today. it was done the same way every yr but had a crazy idea while burning the joss paper this time round... "cant we do a e-banking instead?". sounds crazy but come on...look at the amount of joss paper we burn day in day out?! this is crazy lor... dunno killed how many trees. and being an env sci student, i felt extra guilty while burning the papers today. and worse... look at the amt of CO2 being generated. people curse and swear when indone*ia farmers do their slash and burn but wat about us? no better leh. so har... someone gotta liase with the guards (or govt) in hell... to set up an 'underground' bank mah. we can go virtual wat. just one click and watever amount you want to give the deceased can reach the underground bank. not much hassel and its clean & green mah. interesting rite? ok... i better stop here before i kana flame...
