set off for bintan ard 11ish on monday morning. endured a 1hr rough ferry ride before arriving at bintan safely. the resort bus picked us up on time and thats the start of our
3days 2 nites stay on the island. arrived at the resort ard 12noon (local time...1 hour later den SGT). first thing we did when we stepped into the resort was to book mahjjong room (have been toking abt it for weeks!) lol it started drizzling out there while we were walking to our room. piang... it was a god damn long walk lor...with lots of stairs somemore. we stayed in block P and occupied almost half the block. when we opened our room doors, i think almost everyone 傻眼 lor. the room is so worn out. old old type. first thing the gals complaint about was that the toilet was separated from the bathroom and it was so duh. the room was not that big, not much of furniture inside as well. the tv was small; there was insufficient lighting, the balcony door latch was loose and the blinds could not be up-ed. lynn's room was worse... full of cigarette smell!!! thank god the smell went off after a while. but still v the crap lor. rach n mitch have to change room because their room was so so dirty.after a quick wash, we travelled all the way back to the main block (ya...everyday for almost everything lor... meals, games, entertainment etc) for our lunch. i must say that the food there are pretty good. there are western, indian, chinese, korean, japanese cusines etc everyday. kev the glutton goes for at least 5 rounds every single meal. as for me, keke minimum is 3 rounds lol there was not much activities for us to do on that day as it was raining, so we proceed to recce the place. we ended up playing 2-on-2 basketball as the tennis court was wet, squash court was occupied, gym was small and there was nothing else to do! i tell u har... my boss sibey farnie... think he seldom play also la... keep dribble and stop, dribble and stop... bey tahan... wat rubbish is tat?! lol after about 30 mins, a group of ang mos came up and challenged us play 4-on-4. heng ah we did not accept the challenge... those ang mo can slam dunk lor! *phew* after the game, we headed to the bar for a drink. these guys hor… seriously can vomit blood. They were browsing thru the menu and got so excited when they came across this drink called ‘virgin chi-chi’ -_-“”””””””””””” give up ah!
we played mahjjong after dinner. guess wat time we ended? 4am local time i.e. 5am our time! kaoz… kept kana stuck at the’莊家’ lor! and kns… ended up losing 20 bucks! cant believe my luck… super邪門 lor… all the tiles i get is kns one! after winning the first round, I like cant remember winning any rounds liao lor! But hock says賭場失意情場得以. kekeke… i shall see how accurate is this lol
Day 2
got woken up by the char bos at ard 8. den this gals super ks… woke up so early cos got training at 930… ya, ONLY 930 wat… can at least let me sleep till 830 lor! nontheless, we left early for breakfast so we can enjoy it slowly.
training started at 1000 (trainer late lor %!%@^^@!$!@^). quite enjoyable lah, some work personality thingy. but i think all of us trying damn hard to keep our eyes open lol when we came out of
the room and saw the bright sunny weather, we immediately rushed back to our room, changed and head for the beach! the sea is clear blue…. the sand is v fine and the breeze was so god damn refreshing! we had fun in the water… played like kids. but gotta admit the seawater tasted much more saltier than the waters at changi lol i suntan-ed on the beach and as usual lah… my frens were under the shade (forever the case). After an hour or so… it started drizzling AGAIN! we were forced to return to our rooms *cries*
we had late lunch by the beach that day. really late lor cos the restaurant was closing in 10 mins lol we had to pack lots of food onto our table.. machiam yao guis lol went for archery class after the lunch and it was v v v fun! hey, I can shoot wor lol at least mine landed on the target. LD weak lah! every arrow hit the ground lor… cant believe she is a gym person *hehe* we hang ard at the bar once again after archery. ordered a few different drinks to test… some tasted bitter, some so blardy sour… some so sweet! only bailey’s milk tasted good! so we just drink and nua there till sunset lor.we went back to the room after dinner. rach was kind enuf to help trim my ‘xmas tree’ hair for me! but it was kinda weird cos we were cutting hair in the middle of the corridor lol its mahjjong round 2 after that! this time round we ‘opened’ 2 tables lor cos the char bos wanted to play as well (p*fizer pple all giao guis lor!). the game ended at 2 this time round cos it went v smoothly lol won 3 bucks la… thank god cos my kakis are all sexperts lor. i think i must be damn tired that nite cos i instantly ko-ed when i reach my room. we had wanted to wake up at 4am to watch sunrise but wa kaoz… that nite storm lor! can hear the rain loud and clear even in my dreams! *kekeke*
Day 3
woke up early again by the char bos (damn… shd have close the partition door lol). had no idea wat to do after breakfast as the ferry back to singapore only departs at 4pm! we ended up going to a nearby factory outlet by cabs. bought a few t-shrits there… was the last person to leave the shop lor… wei~ haben finish shopping den have to go back to check-out. reached sg ard 630… very tired but yet happy.
my feel~
the resort was not that fantastic and definitely not worth the price lor!
practically nothing to do and i started missing homeland as early as the 2nd day lor. the rooms were bad lah… haiyo… even ntuc chalet is nicer lor! maybe the weather spoilt the trip la… but seriously… there was not many activities installed for us lor. and half the time we have to go hunting for the activities. And everyday we just eat, drink and sleep lor. maybe tts wat a retreat shd be like but really v sian to nua and nua and nua lor. thank god I got good companies to tide me thru these 3 days. But frankly speaking, I would rather go sentosa den bintan and I am v sure I wun be going back again.
