AWARE vs H1N1

i'm in the mood to blog this very moment. oh... dun be misunderstood k... there is no link between AWARE and H1N1 =x just feel like biatch-ing over the 2 incidents.

first the AWARE saga... how the hell did it even escalate to a 'saga'?! *scratchhead* but quite lame lah... first time i see this in Singapore. revenge of the women. eh, can be quite scary to see professional women turning into cats. oh, before i get flame for writing all these, i better put up a disclaimer to say that all these written on my blog are just my PERSONAL views. anywayz, back to the topic. dun even noe how it escalated to national level. ok, i admit i'm a mountain tortoise... but i've never heard of AWARE till lately. it was indeed an eye-opener LOL i'm so glad the old guards won the battle... not becos i'm homo (frankly speaking, how many of u believe that was the cause of the entire saga?!) but becos i always feel that religion and politics shouldnt involve one another. but hor... who win who lose also not my barang rite? i dun gain anything wat. ok, den case close ;)

H1N1... who can foresee another round of pandemic so quickly after sars? really caught everyone by surprise. and esp so bcos it started from the west this time round. but the lucky thingy is after the sars outbreak, every nation is more or less operational ready for this round of attack. measures were put up very fast and most countries are transparent about the confirmed cases. i think this gave WHO a much easy job when tackling the issue. As for me... life is not without any disturbance. i have to take temp now and wear ppe now and then. hate taking temperature... super stress lor cos i have a very high baseline. i remembered i was having my final exams during the sars period. it was super scary cos i have to take temp b4 entering the exam hall and my temps are always over the limit. so i have to cool down at 1 corner and take 2-3 times before i can take the paper. and i'm always one of the few last ones to enter.

this time round no diff lor. every morning wake up den start worrying about temp taking. so mentally disturbing!!! argh~ but hopefully with the previous experiences and compliance from each nation, we can cope with H1N1 and end the pandemic within a short timeframe.
